  2. Great to see you both again. I feel like I've been invited to visit with you. Feels as if I'm right there with you. Love the baby blanket and your knitting machines. I also adore plastic canvas cigarette holder and lighter. Might have to make something like that for my friend. I've made a lot of the kleenex boxes and enjoyed those.
Hope you don't stay away so long. I look forward to seeing you both again for a lovely visit.

  3. Debi- First, I am so sorry to hear about Ladybug. She was so sweet. My sympathies for everything you have been going through. I have missed your videos....love seeing all your projects...yours & Laura's. Thank you for taking the time to do this. You both are an inspiration to me. If I've been in a creative slump, after I see one of your videos, I bring out my yarn and start something! Lots of love to both of you. ~Melany

  6. First, Thank you so much for inspiring this lifelong knitter to take the crochet plunge into a real afghan. Having 2 g _grands due just 4 weeks apart, I decided to try new projects that would keep me interested enough to finish timely:thus, Ferris Wheel for the first little guy ..I have a stash of LionBrand Tweed Stripes (Limeade) and, with Hook 'K' am now at Row 18 and 26 " diameter...the item started ruffling at about R.12 and now looks like a ballerina skirt! Do you have suggestions regarding my approach at blocking it flat?
Also, as I do not want it much heavier, I may not complete to 30 rows, should I maybe just do the last 3 rows of pattern now?
I am so grateful for any suggestions, AND, for your talents!

    1. Hi Patty. Could you send me a picture of your blanket? My email is dlyrs@juno.com
This blanket isn't supposed to be ruffly until the last few rounds, so maybe I can see what's going on with it. Thanks. :)
